Keyboard Shortcuts don’t work in Photoshop Windows Software

bought a Microsoft Wireless Mouse 5000 and keyboard. Why some keyboard shortcuts don’t work in Photoshop. For some reason, Stokes common using hotkeys not working in Photoshop. For example, if I deselect a selection that should be able to use Ctrl + D. When I do nothing happens. Some commands work, but others do not.Does anyone have this problem or know of an easy solution.This was a problem with the beta version of Photoshop CS which was distributed to all news groups and file sharing programs. From where you have purchased the program? After reading numerous post that deal with this problem (Adobe’s Photoshop forum). To change you keyboard shortcut settings : Go to the toolbar and select “Customize”, then select “Keyboard” tab. In the category pull down, select “Tools” and then then select “Default external editor. Then enter the desired key, or series of them in the slot for “Press new shortcut key.
